Atlantis Submarines Barbados celebrated its thirty eigth 38 year anniversary in February and heralded the contribution of its staff at the Hilton Resort Barbados on March 12th 2025.

Certificates of appreciation and inscribed mementos were graciously given to the five longest serving team members who are now in the management team and have steered the Atlantis Submarines ship. General Manager Roseanne Myers , herself a thirty eight years veteran observed in her remarks "Together we represent over 200 years of experience, in what remains the singularly most unique and innovative attraction in the world. We have together held hands through the ups and downs pardon the pun., and it has been a joy to work with this team"  

The Barbados operation preceded operations in Aruba, Mexico,  Hawaii, Mexico,  Guam. After the closure of the Cayman operation and St. Thomas in the US Virgin hours many years ago, Atlantis Submarines Barbados is the longest running submarine operation in the world. " We have  provided consistently high quality, safe underwater adventures and is a testament to the expertise and skill of a 100% Barbadoan crew."  Each employee  of thirty eight years will also receive a staycation for two to enjoy at their leisure.

The CEO Ben Hurd lauded the management team for their leadership and the entire team for having set and maintained high standards throughout the years.  One of the directors from the board William Tomlin who has served for 38 years was also in attendance and recounted the history of Atlantis having started up with a core team from Intel corporation's assembly plant after its closure in 1986. "Atlantis Submarines has always chosen good people", he quipped and also noted his own long standing relationship with the Hurd family and Dennis Hurd as the founder and now Chairman of the board of Atlantis Submarines International.

Three employees celebrated 30 to 35 years with the company. Another five staff fell between 20 to 30 years and  two reached 10 to 20 years.

Also celebrated on the day were those employees who represent the future and these eighteen employees celebrated five years and under. All were joined by the CEO of Atlantis Submarines International Ben Hurd and the Chief Financial Officer,  in a celebratory breakfast.

Bringing greetings from Atlantis Aruba was Frank Foek and his colleagues from Depalm tours Wilfred Trimon and Cesar Luque.
